Got this from my uncle's garage. it has cosmetic damages, the cruise control is not working and this is just some of it
hoping to repair this on my own but i didnt realize the extent of it. any leads around LA where i can take this to? tnx in advance

yeah you could probably DIY cosmetic damages but cruise control issues could be tricky.. I guess your best bet is taking it to the nearest dealership, not just any service center. You should see options for repair on the BMW app

cheers 🍻

restorations are a long haul, better find someone you can trust to walk with you in restoring that bike. Start with checking the engine before the cosmetics, you dont wanna make it look brand new but not running.

I agree with this. i'm sure a friend of a friend knows a restoration guy or two. best of luck!

Very cool project to take on! If you're looking for help in LA, check out Irv Seaver BMW or Moto Republic in Eagle Rock both are trusted and rider friendly. Let us know how the rebuild goes
