R1200R downshift vibrations

I've been riding my 2016 R1200R LC around LA for a few months now and been enjoying it. But I've noticed a strange little vibration when downshifting from 3rd to 2nd, especially while engine braking into corners. It's not harsh, just enough to feel through the pegs and bars. Seems to happen more when the bike's warmed up.
I'm using the clutch and trying to match revs, so I'm wondering if it's just a boxer thing or maybe something with the shift-assist?

Just curious if anyone else has felt this? Thanks everyone!

that's actually a very common experience with the shift assist pro on the R1200LC bikes.. the slight vibration or clunk you feel on the 3-2 downshift is a well-known quirk of the system. as long as you're not getting false neutrals or error codes, it's likely just a normal trait of your bike. while it's always a good idea to ensure your clutch lever has the correct free play, the feeling you describe is generally considered normal for these models.

cheers 🍻

Hey @George O, what you’re feeling is pretty typical on the R1200R LC with Shift Assist Pro. Just double-check your clutch free play while you’re at it.
