Valves adjustment

So I just got a 2011 R1200R but I've noticed the engine clanks more when hot but it's quiet when cold. Valves were adjusted at 19k. Is this normal, or do I need another adjustment? Would love some insights!

Theyre very easy to check on, best to do it every oil change.

some mechanical noise for these engines is normal, especially when they warm up.. but you're correct.. significant increase in clanking should not be ignored! I don't know your current mileage but it might be worth checking the torque on your cylinder head bolts? sometimes they can loosen slightly over time and with thermal cycling
