Struggling with loud exhaust on my BMW R1200R

I bought my 2018 BMW R1200R with an Akrapovic muffler, but the previous owner removed the silencer, and now it sounds way too loud for me. I can't stand that "bumble bee" noise. Any idea on the part number for the baffle or a used one?

I've had success getting parts information directly from Akrapovič's support, so I'd get in touch with them directly to see if they have a baffle or can recommend a dealer who does. Alternatively, authorized dealers like RevZilla and Dennis Kirk frequently carry Akrapovič baffles and repack kits.

it's hard to know the precise part number if you don't know the exact Akrapovic muffler model you have. it's best to contact the Akrapovic or a local dealer

Thanks for the tip, I'll reach out to Akrapovič directly and check out those dealers too

You'll want the official Akrapovic baffle (sometimes called a DB killer) to reduce the volume. The part number can vary depending on the exact slip-on model, so its best to check Akrapovic's website or contact a dealer with your exhaust serial number. You can often find used baffles on ebay or amazon.
