My older brother inherited our pop's R1200R that I've been begging for so long. Welp. The speedometer stopped working after he took it around town on the first day. Maybe he's bad luck. Kidding aside, I wanna help him troubleshoot. How best to fix it? Thanks.

but seriously I think you can try to check the sensors and the fuses. Get your brother to take a look at the manual too and just don't force anything. Hope it's just an easy fix!

Check the fuses like @lightsoff.90 mentioned hahaha you really dodged a bullet there. Still nice you're helping him out. Make sure the speedometer cable isn't damaged!
