R1200 digital vs. analog speedometer discrepancy which one to trust?

So, my buddy's got this BMW R1200, and we've run into a bit of a weird issue. The digital speedometer shows a speed that's way higher than what the analog one is telling us. Has anyone else come across this? It's got us scratching our heads over which one we can actually trust! If you've got any advice on how to figure this out or tips on what we should look into, we'd really appreciate it.

First off, has there been any recent tire or wheel changes?, asking because running a non stock tire size can throw off the readings, especially the digital one since it pulls from the sensors, also maybe check for firmware updates or something, Idk that's all I got

Digital and analog should match like @Wendy.T check if its the correct tire/wire size, check the calibration settings or sensor issues, especially around the ABS ring or speed sensor, one might be glitching, but I'd trust the digital readout more unless proven otherwise

If BMW can't sync a digital and analog speedometer on a premium bike like the R1200, doesn't that cast doubt on the accuracy of everything else like mileage, diagnostics, or even ABS calibration?
