the previous oenwr did something to the mud guards i thin and the front and back ones are short so road junk goes everywhere. anyone here made some modifications or upgrades that could help keep the mud and water away from the bike at least a litle bit?

@JustRide93 it's like those mud guards were designed for a sunny stroll down clean roads instead of actual biking through muck and chaos but if you're tired of road junk turning your bike into an abstract art piece maybe look into adding extenders or custom full-coverage guards plus a little DIY ingenuity can go a long way like cutting and shaping some plastic or rubber to keep all the mess where it belongs, off you and the bike.

sounds like the previous owner trimmed them. Try fender extenders (Puig, Pyramid) or DIY a rubber extension. A rear hugger can also help keep mud off the shock and swingarm
