Clock reset

I have a 2024 BMW 1250R, and I've been running into an odd issue where the clock resets itself randomly. Everything else on the display works fine, but every now and then, I'll turn the bike on and see that the clock has been wiped. It's inconsistent, sometimes it happens after a short stop, other times it goes for days without an issue.
After some digging, I found that others have dealt with this too. Some mentioned BMW replacing the TFT screen or reinstalling firmware, but I haven't seen anyone confirm that those fixes actually worked. When I brought it up at the dealership, they acted like it was the first time they'd ever heard of it, unbelievable, though one tech guy suggested trying a hard reset by disconnecting the battery.
Before I go that route, has anyone else found a real fix for this? If I figure it out, I'll be sure to update here

yeah. so since i got the problem with ny R1200R difficulty starting, i also got this bug. i just did a software update but haven't really tested if this solves the whole thing. i'll update here also. don't go for the hard reset just yet. do the software.

It's a bug, it's funny that your dealership wasn't aware of this. but yeah, a hard reset should help. but if it's still didn't fix it, you need a software update

Try to do a software update first. this resolves the issue most of the time
