I picked up a '16 R1200R a few weeks back with about 18k on the clock. Did the usual, oil, filters, plugs. It was running solid for a while, but now around 19k it's acting up, takes longer to crank when starting, the idle feels uneven, and at steady throttle there's a slight hesitation and when eventually decide to open it up, there's a quick stumble before it pulls strong again.
I dont know if it could be ignition coils or a weak fuel pump, please, who has thoughts and what'd you guys think

Seems like a classic fuel or ignition problem, so there are few problems to consider. It could be a coil problem which leads to poor or uneven spark. O2 sensor or injectors can also cause similar symptoms. The fuel pump or a regulator may not send proper or enough fuel, so ithe another thing you should consider checking out

Have you noticed any issues with the fuel economy or any warning lights coming on, or is it just the performance symptoms you're seeing?

@Jeremyyyy
A weak fuel pump struggling to maintain consistent pressure can make this kind of issue too. The longer cranking time could be bcs the system is taking longer to build pressure. Hesitation and stumbling under load are classic signs of fuel starvation.

yep, a classic gremlin creeping in! I'm leaning towards either ignition coils or a fuel delivery issue myself, I think you should check both of them

It could be something simple. I had a similar problem except my 1200GS was starting okay. It was when I got it out on the road, the bike started lugging like I was running out of fuel and then it completely died. I took it to BMW in Puerto Vallarta and they had it for nearly a month because they couldn't figure it out. I thought it was bad gas and they cleaned the tank and put in fresh stuff but it wasn't that. They replaced the spark plug and did some other tests. They finally found the problem: dirt in the lines, a simple fix.

This is your sign to get an OBD scanner (if you don't already and if you don't got a car). There are OBDLink adapters specifically tailored to work with motorbikes. Anyway, when you're stuck, it's nice to jump into the forum for help but it's also nice to have all the info you can find first before anything so we can better assist you.
