I am an avid biker and have been riding for around 40 years plus some... started on a Montesa 250cc scrambler and rode mainly dirt for the first few years, with commuting on a daily basis for many years. Now a resident in the beautiful Western Cape area with a lot of gravel opportunities. Currently own a 1200GS that I would like to sell and a KTM 690 EnduroR that I use almost exclusively on gravel (except for occasionally tar to get to gravel)
I absolutely love the GS 1200 for all round work and the shaft drive and tubeless tyres make it so much more adventure friendly. Living in Gansbaai, where I own a guesthouse above the harbour.
