Somewhere in my deep dive through forums, I stumbled across talk about a fuel strip supposedly made in Latin America. Now it's vanished like a magician's act, and I can't seem to track it down. If this rings a bell for anyone, let me know before I start believing I made it up in my sleep!

Huh. Isn't it the one from Fuel Sensor Tech? Go check it and let me know if it's what you're looking for.

Sounds like you're chasing a ghost. the fuel strip might've been a limited run or just a rumor that got exaggerated. If it was real, it probably didn't take off, or it's buried in some obscure corner of the internet. Don't waste too much time on it, if it's important, it'll show up again, my opnion though

Yeah I can see what you mean about it being a tough find. Luckily someone just gave me a tip so now my mission is finding a shop that stocks it.

Where exactly did you see the mention of the fuel strip, and do you recall any specific brand or model details that might help track down this mysterious Latin American product?

I get why people are skeptical about a part they see online and I see you're wondering if it's real. I've spent a lot of time looking into this, and I can say the Fuel Sensor Tech part from Argentina is legit and has a good reputation. I've read several threads with positive feedback from riders who've used it, saying it's a solid fix for the faulty OEM fuel strip. Someone's earlier reply here actually helped me find the company and all the user reviews. Now that I know it's a good option, I just need to pick a North American supplier. For those who've already switched, did you order from the Canadian distributor or a US one?
